Who I am
Beats.Freer is the performance name of Ben Freer. I’m responsible for the information you send through this site. Contact: studio@befreer.co.uk.
What I collect
Only what you type into the booking form: your name, email, phone number (if you give it), and details about your event such as the date, venue, timings, DJ and number of guests.
Why
To check my availability, send you a quote, and arrange the booking if you go ahead. The lawful basis is that you’ve asked me to take steps before entering into a contract, and your consent when you tick the box on the form.
Where it’s stored
- The form is processed by Formspree, which forwards it to my email and keeps a copy in my Formspree account. Formspree is based in the US; transfers are covered by their data processing terms.
- Your enquiry then sits in my email inbox (studio@befreer.co.uk).
- If you book, I may also add you to a WhatsApp group for the details of the day, unless you’d prefer I didn’t.
How long I keep it
If you don’t book, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, I keep booking records for as long as I need them for accounts and tax. confirm period
Who else sees it
No one, except where it’s needed for your booking (for example, confirming timings with your DJ or sax player). I don’t sell or share your details for marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn’t set cookies or use advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers when you visit. On the Watch page, the TikTok feed only loads if you press the button to load it; TikTok may then set its own cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing studio@befreer.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
